It is really hard for most people to get a decent look when their tummy's sticking out or the armholes of a beautiful dress wrap way too tightly around the biceps. This is what you should
obviously do:
- Get a loose, casual style for yourself. I don't mean that you should dress yourself in bags, but wear something that is slightly loose yet stylish. Your dress can include pleats, yolks, baggies et cetera. (anyway, nowadays all kinds of styles are in, so your fashion statement is never out-dated)
- Be your own designer. Do not just stick to what stores offer you, but in your own creation you can fascinate everyone. Work your mind on which-cut-makes-my-tummy-look-flatter (like the A-lines) or does-the-low-neckline-make-my-chest-look-better or maybe-the-baggies-help and so on.
- Spend more time infront of the mirror observing the positive points of your physique. As you look, think about how you can make them more prominent through your dressing.
Note: Do not complain thus:- "Oh,I don't have
anything beautiful about me" because it is a complete lie. Most importantly, do not kill youself with any kind of complex. Obesity is a very common problem, so you're not just the one suffering.
- Although it is said that dark colours make you look thin, it is more important that the colours of your clothes match with your skin tone.
- Prefer carrying big bags, as they can hide the parts you dont want people to note by changing the length of the strap! (now ain't that clever :p)
- When it comes to jewellery, you can try a thin, shimmery necklace, that can be a really simple chain. Avoid choker necklaces (they're uneasy anyway). Stop wearing short earrings (or tops) and go for longer and thinner ones that are prominent on your face (they even add to your personality). In short, give yourself a more delicate look.
- Open your hair more often.
Dressing up is all about feeling good. Lastly, it's the confidence that counts! =)
